Lately I've been using a "classic V" equalizer setting in Foobar while listening to music, and I like the highs and lows, but I was wondering if listening to it flat is the way the artist intended. I listen to a lot of rock music. Should I listen to it flat? Basically, I want the music to sound as close to the way the artist listen to the music themselves.

I'd set it to "Rock" (for rock music), it tends to bring out the way it usually is.
