What's the best music notation program for composing orchestral music?

Hi everyone. I used to be a dedicated violin student at my university, but I came to the realization that my passion is in composition, not performance. I've studied music theory, but I'm no whiz at it. I want to try to sharpen my music composition skills and buy music notation software. I want to buy a program where the program will play back for me what I put into it so I can listen for any mistakes, and if it actually sounds like an orchestra with the real timbres of the specific instruments, that would be fantastic. Something easy to learn would be nice, but not necessary. Thanks!

It's a free program.

Finale isn't easy to learn, but if you're going to major in composition, I'd recommend you invest in it. My copy was around $500, I think.
