PSP Music...?

I recently bought a PSP...i want to download music from the windows media player program i have. Do i need a special program to download music to the psp or can i do without and just connect the USB cable to the harddrive and psp? Also does anyone know of any good sites to get free music possibly? Thanks

To use Windows Media Player to sync your device you need Windows Media Player 11 and you need the newest firmware update of 2.80. You also have to have a Wi-Fi Connection if you want to enable Windows Media Audio Available on the PSP system. There are a lot of steps. You also have to make sure you have a nice sized memory stick. I have the 256MB. I recommend the 1GB.

tha fact of the matter is all u need to CONNECT it to the computer is the usb cord BUT, sony has this little problem with sharing files.....WMV and WMA is just now been accepted. and sony connect is like the BEST service for it....its smooth fast and pretty good, the songs arent updated as much as itunes though.

but all u need is update 2.8 for the WMA update and a usb and a service for music(make sure it is LEGAL!! sony detects "ilegal" or corrupt software QUICK!!
